July 27, 2017 – Moncton, N.B. – Think you have what it takes to pull a 60,000 lb. tractor trailer? Find out by joining the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick as it hosts the 3rd annual Pulling for United Way corporate and high school challenge on September 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Moncton.
Businesses, community organizations, and local area high schools are invited join in this fun downtown event by registering teams and compete by pulling a 60,000 lb. tractor trailer a distance of 125 feet, in the fastest time.
“United Way is proud to partner with Midland Transport on this exciting event. It was a tough competition last year for the coveted Midland Green Cup and we are expecting another year of fierce competition. We are incredibly grateful to everyone for supporting this event,” says Kirk Muise, 2017 Campaign Chair.
