(April 22, 2015 ) Eau Claire, Wisconsin—Estes Express Lines, one of the leading freight carriers in the U.S., has opened a new terminal in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to help accommodate increased demand for the company’s services in the northern Great Plains region.
“Demand for freight in this area has continued to grow and with the economy also starting to strengthen, this was a good time for us to add doors in the region,” said Dan Koch, Estes Great Plains Regional Vice President. “The Eau Claire terminal will help us manage this increased capacity while maintaining the high level of service our customers have come to expect from Estes.”
Located at 7495 Partridge Road just off Interstate 94 and almost halfway between Estes terminals in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Wausau, Wisconsin, the Eau Claire facility contains 33 doors and employs 14 people. The terminal began operations as an Estes facility in April under the supervision of Terminal Manager Curtis Waldon. Curtis recently joined the company and has 25 years of experience in LTL freight.
