MENASHA, Wis. (Feb. 23, 2015) — Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. today opened an expanded service center in Oshkosh, allowing the company to better serve the region’s resurging paper industry.
The opening of the service center in Oshkosh is a key facility for the Thomasville, N.C.-based less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier’s growth in the region. The eight-acre, 48-door service center will lead to 15 new jobs and replaces a 37-door facility Old Dominion has maintained in the area for 15 years.
The facility is located at 1020 Ehlers Road in Menasha, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 10 and U.S. Highway 41 in the heart of the Fox River Valley. The service center will provide direct service to cities in Wisconsin (Appleton, Chilton, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Kaukauna and Neenah) and Michigan (Escanaba, Iron Mountain and Marinette).
