COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (June 27, 2013) – Chris Thacker, a 17-year associate at Averitt Express, was recently named director of traffic for the global logistics and transportation provider.
In that role, Thacker will continue overseeing the auditing and rating processes of Averitt’s less-than-truckload, truckload and supply chain solutions services. He will also work closely with fellow members of The Reliance Network and other partner carriers to provide seamless global transportation coverage.

A graduate of White County High School, Thacker earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Tennessee Tech University before starting his career with Averitt in 1996.
